Responsibilities for this Position |
|
- To perform duties to maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
- Separate and remove trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
- Steam-clean or hose-out garbage cans.
- Sort bottles and break disposable ones
- Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
- Scrape food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor
- to dishwashing machine.
- Polish silver, using burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth, if required.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of handtruck.
- Set up banquet tables, when required.
- Wash and peel vegetables using knife or peeling machine, when required.
- Run glasses through dishmachine twice.
- Understand OSHA regulations.
- When handling chemicals, always wear protective equipment.
- Put away and rotates stock.
- Put away all clean utensils and stock in designated areas.
- Communication between co-workers and management team required.
- Report to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
- Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its
- duties.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Use hands to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.
- Understand basic instructions.
- Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition
- exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.

Job Requirements |

- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to converse in basic English.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must meet grooming standards.
- Meet/exceed customer expectations.
- Must meet or exceed the team expectations.
