 The Ideal Candidate for this Position

The ideal candidate for this position would be an outgoing, career oriented, person who is able to smile and stand on feet for long periods of time.

 Scope of this Position

  • Position will be responsible for supervising/managing/overseeing the following departments: front desk associates, bell persons, night audit, concierge and At Your Service
  • In preparing for this position, candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: front desk clerk
  • Requires a minimum of 1 year(s) of supervisory experience.
  • Requires a minimum of 1 year(s) of experience.
  • Approximate full time staff under this position: 15
  • Approximate part time staff under this position: 4
  • This position reports to: Steve Slagle
  • Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and week-ends.

 Job Requirements

  • Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
  • Solid experience in Front Office including Front Desk, Night Audit, PBX, Reservations, Bell staff, and Guest Services.
  • Experience consistently outperforming competitive properties.
  • Track record resolving customer complaints to benefit of guests and the property.
  • Assure guest expectations are exceeded through proper employee training.
Managerial Requirements:
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Use a "hands-on" approach to management.
  • Abilities to inspire, train, and develop people for promotion.
  • Instill a guest service attitude in all employees.
  • Instill a "can-do" attitude in employees.
Business Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of computers.
  • Strong customer service orientation and skills.
  • Exceptional detail in follow-up.
  • Follow/enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Assume responsibility/accountability.
  • Create courteous, friendly, professional work environment.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
Educational Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent.
