Scope of this Position |
 |
- Work closely with Banquet Manager to assure all groups receive great service.
- Run informative line-ups each day and coordinate functions taking place in different meeting rooms at the same time.
- Train and develop people to replace you to speed your own promotional opportunities.
- Position will be responsible for supervising/managing/overseeing the following departments: Banquets
- In preparing for this position, candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: Banquet Manager
- This position reports to: Banquet Manager
- Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and week-ends.

Job Requirements |
 |
- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Experience supervising numerous banquets at the same time.
- Experience handling multi-million dollar Banquet operations.
- Maintain a balance between floor supervision, administration, employee training and mentoring, and hosting/communicating with groups.
- Assure consistency in service through ongoing training.
- Coordinate meal and set up requests with appropriate Departments.
- Excellent communications with FO, Catering, and Sales.
- Experience ordering supplies, lines, uniforms, etc.
- Improve quality and consistency.
Managerial Requirements:
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain a good working relationship with guests, groups, and personnel from other departments.
- Track record promoting an atmosphere of teamwork.
- Demonstrate ability to lead by example.
- Use a "hands-on" approach to management.
- Instill a guest service attitude in all employees.
Business Skills:
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of computers.
- Strong customer service orientation and skills.
- Exceptional detail in follow-up.
